Hi all,

I am looking to sell my custom built desktop computer the details of which can be found below. Despite it being a couple of years old, it still has more than enough power to pack a punch in almost any area that you could want although I mainly used it for audio editing. The case is reasonably compact and will more than comfortably fit on any desk shelving that is designed to hold a computer. I paid particular attention to noise levels throughout the build process, the result of which is an extremely quiet computer which you are able to leave on without being distracted by fan noise - it's more than quiet enough for it to be left on whilst you sleep if you desire.

Specifications:

Intel Core I5 2500 quad core CPU at 3.3GHZ (turbo boost up to 3.7GHZ) 6MB cache LGA1155 processor with stock Intel cooler
Kingston 16GB (4X 4GB) DDR3 1333MHZ CL9 1.5V memory
128GB OCZ Vector SSD for operating system & programs
1TB Western Digital WD10EVDS for data storage
LG GH22NS50 22x DVD±RW DL & RAM SATA Optical Drive
Gigabyte GA-H67MA-UD2H-B3 H67 Socket 1155 GBIT LAN 8 Channel Audio mATX motherboard
Be Quiet 530W Pure Power PSU
Coolermaster Elite 342 Black Micro ATX Case including a quiet Xilence Red Wing 120mm Case Fan & the stock 80MM fan
180 day warranty

I have just rebuilt the entire computer, taking time to clean any dust out from inside the case, reapply thermal compound to the CPU, perform cable management & once assembled stress test all of the components.

You will receive the computer & a power cable; keyboard, mouse, monitor & speakers are not included. Price including delivery is £420 with a genuine copy of Windows 8.1 which I will install & configure or £380 if you want to source & install your own operating system.

As you can see from the above, when I built the system I went out of my way to make sure that high quality parts were used throughout the build to ensure maximum performance & reliability. Whilst this may not be the cheapest used system ever, with computer hardware, you very much get what you pay for & I have every confidence that this computer will last for many years to come, partly due to the parts chosen & partly due to the care that has been taken throughout the build process.

Payment to be made via Paypal.

Many thanks for reading.

Hi,

That would be $670 + $200 for shipping. Thank you for your interest but I think it would be best if you found something a bit more local.

I am not interested in purchasing the product because I am satisfied with my equipment. However, I am curious as to why, considering the product is being marketed to blind people, speakers, which blind people would require so they could hear speecch, are not included?

Probably because it would be very easy for a blind person to either 1. have a set of speakers on hand already, or 2. plug a set of headphones into the computer's audio jack when it arrived. Neither of these options would be particularly difficult.

Honestly, unless I'm completely missing the boat on something, the cost for gear of this quality is actually pretty good, even if you throw in shipping costs.

It wasn't sold with speakers because I didn't want to sell it with speakers. It's sold now BTW.
